Alumni and Alumni Association The former students of this department have adorned coveted posts in academia and industry. The alumni of the department include Bhatnagar Award winners, Vice-Chancellor of a university, Dean I Heads of the department in many national research laboratories and top executives in industries in the country and abroad. CHEMISTRY ALUMNI, Scottish Church College, (CaSc), the forum of the former students and teaching staff of the department, awards many encouragement prizes and promotes co-curricular activities to impart enhanced sense of involvement to the students with their subject in general and alma maters particular. The department organises a Reunion every two years where the old and the new meet together and exchange views in a joyous atmosphere. The last Reunion was held on 22"d February 2004.
